We are glad to share the news that Colin Edwards has joined Smile Genius Dental as an advisor. He brings his immense digital health and scientific experience to Smile Genius which will help us enter the growth phase of our all-in-one #clearaligners platform.

Colin Edwards founded Merlin Consulting Ltd in 2015 to advise digital health creators and co-develop robust assessments of the impact of new technologies on patient outcomes.

He is a co-founder of patientMpower, an Irish digital healthcare company specialising in lung and kidney health. He was the Chief Scientific Officer responsible for the development and implementation of the clinical and health economics evaluation programme for patientMpower in respiratory (interstitial lung disease, post-lung transplantation, Covid19) and renal conditions (hemodialysis, post-kidney transplantation). He retired from his full-time role with patientMpower in late 2022 while remaining as an advisor and board member.

Colin was previously General Manager/Head of Medical Affairs at the Ireland affiliate of Boehringer Ingelheim.

He is a member of the Institute of Directors in Ireland and currently serves on the boards of the Irish Lung Fibrosis Association and Siel Bleu Ireland on a voluntary basis.
